IMPORTANT UPDATE as of 1/1/2018:

ApolloniA was originally released on 8/18/2017. Since that time Soren of Luftrum Sound Design created a project to expand Lunaris¬†to v1.2. This new version, released on 1/1/2018 includes all of the¬†presets from ApolloniA, as well as an additional 130 brand new¬†presets¬†for a total of 150 new¬†presets.¬†I am going to leave the original page¬†below because ApolloniA also includes 10 Multi Instruments that weren’t¬†included in the v1.2 update.

Lunaris  v1.2  Announcement  РLuftrum

Original ApolloniA release page continued:

Lunaris is Luftrum’s first Kontakt sample based instrument, containing sounds from classic analog pads to lush ambient pads, cinematic pads and any pad in between, including 30 original Luftrum sounds created on Dave Smith’s legendary Prophet-6. Lunaris also contains sequenced pads from underscoring elements to more contemporary rhythmic patterns plus a selection of dark, avantgarde and obscure pads.

At the heart of Lunaris are 2700 meticulously hand trimmed samples, collected in over 200 sound sources of multisampled pads, field recordings, synth transients and soundscapes available to mix, sculpt and shape into the perfect pad structure. But not only is Lunaris a dream pad machine, it is also a full bodied creative tool that can excel at anything from soundscapes to synth leads, as well as drones and organic textures, complementing both the producer, composer and the sound designer.

ApolloniA, for Luftrum’s Lunaris virtual pad synthesizer, includes a complete set of 20 Single “snapshot” instruments and 10 Multi instruments. Programmed within the Lunaris Synthesizer Interface, along with the massive selection of available sound sources using no less than 4 Oscillators per patch, heavy use of Modulation Wheel routing, and the many parameters provided to create this unique sound-set. ApolloniA (Greek meaning: ‚ÄúFrom Apollo, Sunlight‚ÄĚ), was created with one theme in mind …Ambient Pads of Universal Starlight, as follows:

  1. Hi everyone. The comments section of ApolloniA is now close for 2 reasons:

#1, Luftrum has released this with version 1.2 of Lunaris,
#2 for some reason this comments section was receiving a lot of inappropriate spam.

If you still wish to acquire the password, please contact me within the “Contact” section of this site. Thank you for understanding :)

  2. Hi there. I just purchased Lunaris and am interested to hear Apollonia. I am on a Mac. Do I need winzip? I can’t seem to open the file.

  3. Hi everyone, and thank you for your kind comments. It has come to my attention that the installation procedure for “Multi” patches was incorrect.

In accordance with the standards of Kontakt sound placement, I have updated the Manual, this page, and contents within the ApolloniA package to reflect this requirement. Not an actual update, just a correction ūüėČ I hope you are all enjoying the sounds!

  4. Hi Michael,

Thanks a lot for your effort in doing this patches for free for us!
This kind of things don’t happen too often.
    Very appreciated!

  5. I’ve tried unzipping ApolloniA.zip on my Mac and all I get is a file that is still unzipped called ApolloniA.zip.cpgz. What should I do?

    1. Hi Greg, I wish I had a MAC to test this with, but no worries, I’ll make sure you get this release in an alternate format. Check your email ūüėČ

      1. Hi,

I’m getting the same thing as Greg above… and tried using another application which asked for a password to un-archive… any clues?

        1. Hi Brad,

I just looked at some of the messages Greg and I discussed while he was having the same problems, and he said:

“I do think for us Mac users the initial download will cause problems unless you have Winzip for Mac”.

That seemed to work for him. I’ll go ahead and shoot an email with the needed password and this information to let you know there as well, just in case you miss the message here.
